From insight to resilience
Our story.
dataHEARD grew from a shared realization that while data is expanding rapidly, many countries and communities still lack the capacity to turn it into meaningful, locally owned action. In 2025, a diverse group of professionals came together through trust, collaboration, and shared experience, united by the belief that data should serve people, not systems alone. Grounded in values of equity, collaboration, and local empowerment, dataHEARD supports communities to use their own data ethically and sustainably to strengthen resilience and inform better decisions for health, development, and beyond.

The world is facing unprecedented challenges: shrinking aid, massive layoffs, and the erosion of institutional knowledge. Expertise is leaving, but the problems are not. We fill that gap. We connect countries, communities, innovators, and researchers, forging partnerships that scale solutions in real-world contexts.

As global aid declines and institutional knowledge erodes, essential health and environmental data systems are at risk. dataHEARD fills this critical gap—providing the expertise, tools, and partnerships needed to sustain high-quality data. We connect countries, communities, innovators, and researchers to create scalable, real-world solutions that keep vital information flowing where it’s needed most.

dataHEARD is aligned with UN80 Reform as we break down fragmented health, social, and environmental data systems. We connect the dots, turning scattered information into clear, actionable insights. By supporting the building of integrated, efficient data ecosystems, we help countries and communities make evidence-based decisions that strengthen resilience and drive sustainable development. What’s more, we are cost-effective.
